About
Raymond Pepi’s consulting firm, Building Conservation Associates, Inc., created a custom database for Metro North Railroad in 1998 so they could keep track of their greatest architectural asset, Grand Central Terminal. Through that experience, Ray started to see a void in the market and wanted to fill the space with a program that is easy to use, dynamic, and geared toward historic properties. BCA took the first version, improved upon it, and named it CPTools, now licensed through Metro-Work Inc.
House museums and historical societies have purchased CPTools to help maintain their properties.
At Metro-Work, Inc., we continue to speak with facilities managers and they are all saying the same thing, “give me something easy to use". After about two years of development, we are proud to announce the release of mwSpaces. This solution allows for the clear and simple cataloging and maintenance of your building at every level - from the rooms to the objects and architectural features within them. This catalog allows you to schedule the maintenance tasks that keep your building running - including assigning budgets and the Staff and Vendors who will complete the Task.
